HoldFast Bourbon

In the colonial days rum was indeed king.
a few far-flung souls made whiskey using corn and available grains, yet rum made from molasses was by far the preferred spirit.

But as England levied taxes and eventually cut off the colonies’ molasses trade, you might say that was the tipping point and people started tipping back whiskey instead.

In short order,  the colonial rum distillers switched to making whiskey and started moving west to kentucky and Tennessee.

Another American revolution was underway and this one had bourbon in our future.

HoldFast captures that spirit - A double-oaked alliance of two bourbons: one is wheated and one is high rye. the character of each intertwines with the other creating a boldly-layered & smooth bourbon for sipping or mixing.

Stay strong, drink whiskey & give no quarter.

“Hold Fast”

The term "hold fast" originates in nautical and military traditions -- from the Dutch term houd vast -- which means "hold tight."

It was popularized by sailors, especially those in the British Navy, as an instruction to "hold tight" to the ship's rigging, ropes, or any secure part of the vessel during storms or turbulent waters. The phrase embodies resilience, steadfastness, and the idea of withstanding difficulty.

"Hold Fast" is a reminder of the importance of staying strong, resolute, and unwavering in the face of challenges. In other words, our HoldFast is the perfect bourbon for these trying times.
